The Florence 1 Schools Board of Trustees approved a list of facilities maintenance and upgrades projects at the August 8, 2019 School Board meeting. The approved projects are now in progress and will be moving along quickly!
Timeline
Fall 2019 - Winter 2022
Note: some projects will be completed during spring/summer breaks.
Cost
Each school's building program costs approximately $400,000 to $500,000
depending on the scope of the projects.
Funding
The District is allowed to borrow up to 8% of its property value to fund the improvements.
Need
These projects address a few of the needs across the District.
As part of the Florence 1 in 2021 vision,
the facilities upgrades begin the process of advancing our schools.

Several of the stadium/athletics projects were not completed by the program manager but are provided on this site to show additional projects. The District used a CM at Risk process for several projects as well.
