The Florence 1 Schools Board of Trustees approved a list of facilities maintenance and upgrades projects at the August 8, 2019 School Board meeting. The approved projects are now in progress and will be moving along quickly!
August 2019 - August 2022
Note: some projects will be completed during spring/summer breaks.
Each school's building program costs approximately $400,000 to $500,000
depending on the scope of the projects.
The District is allowed to borrow up to 8% of its property value to fund the improvements.
These projects address a few of the needs across the District.
As part of the Florence 1 in 2021 vision,
the facilities upgrades begin the process of advancing our schools.
